Acorn Plumbing are Gas Safe (previously Corgi) Registered and qualified to offer a full range of gas appliance installations, including hobs, cookers, fires, and boilers. In addition we specialise in innovative space creation solutions by repositioning all types of boilers in all types of places. The central heating systems we install range from all inclusive budget options to top of the range multi boiler systems.

All Boiler manufacturers recommend regular servicing, to prolong the life of you boiler, and for you safety and peace of mind. Unlike many Plumbing companies who simply use a gas analyzer to check your boiler is burning correctly, our service includes a physical check of the boiler and all safety components as well as cleaning inside.

A full boiler service also involves dismantling and cleaning the boiler components before recommissioning (e.g. filters etc). We can service any make or model of gas boiler.

Doing the right thing does not mean you have to compromise on comfort. We believe in warming your home without warming the planet. Our choice of planet friendly options include solar powered water heating, rainwater harvesting systems, bespoke wood burning central heating or simply fitting thermostatic radiator valves to your existing radiators.

We try to remain local cutting out unnecessary travel, wherever possible we will recycle materials removed from your home, and to put our money where our mouth is our special offers will always include a promotion of something Green. Breathe new life into your old Central Heating. Powerflushing cleans away the sludge and scale from inside your heating system, leaving it more efficient, reducing your heating bills and prolonging its life. If your heating has poor circulation, is noisy when warming up, has cold spots on radiators, or blockages cause the boiler to cut, then a powerflush may well be the answer.

We believe we are the most competitively priced powerflushing company in the Berkhamsted and surrounding areas. A standard 7 radiator powerflush includes all chemicals. Additional radiators are extra with full use of specialist equipment and is only £250 (plus vat). That's about half the price of large plumbing corporations. Don't worry if you have more than 7 radiators in your home we only charge an extra £20 (plus vat) per radiator.

Landlord certificates are available promptly and our pricing structure proves cost effective. Many rental properties have just one or two gas appliances so our basic fee is just £75 for a certificate on one appliance. If you have more appliances, its just £30 per appliance there after.

We are qualified commercial gas engineers able to work on unlimited size industrial gas pipes.

All general plumbing works including underground plumbing and drainage are undertaken. No commercial heating job is too large for Acorn Plumbing.
